Missions: Our Story
|
1,2,3… Be The ChurchListening to my sermons you might find a couple of refrains. Nations, Neighborhoods, and the Next Generation. Covenant and Comission. The meta-narrative of the Kingdom of God. At the core of who we are we see the life of the Christian on ground level to be one that loves God, loves each other, and reaches the world. At Grace we purse these things in all that we do. If you aren’t doing these things we believe you are missing out on the abundant life that Jesus came to give us. |
Covenant And CommissionThroughout the scriptures I see a pattern… The God of the universe establishes a covenant and then sends out his people with a commission. I believe that within this code to the Kingdom is where we can find our identity and calling. |
Easter Sunday 2010 – FruitThe restoration of all things has begun! You know the story. For a couple of thousand years the largest gathering of the church has been Easter, and the church has a tradition: one leads the congregation by declaring, “Jesus has risen from the dead!” and the congregation responds, “He is risen indeed!” But, what does that mean and why is it important? Jesus is the first fruit of a massive harvest! Come Feast! |
Jesus’ Fruit
Have you ever heard news of such epic proportions that you could not bring yourself to believe it? News so amazing that it caused you to question the credibility of the person telling you and wonder if such things were even in the realm of possibility? That is the type of news I want to tell you about. I have really good news of fruit more massive and intense than you can imagine. It’s harvest time! |
